1657 JOHN OWEN. Of Communion with God the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Rare Puritan Devotion.
Wonderful early imprint of one of Owen's richest devotional works. Boldly autographed by Benjamin Trumbull, Nephew of the famous Jonathan Trumbull and Chaplain during the American Revolution. A lovely piece connecting the Puritan, Presbyterian theology of the early Patriots directly to their activity in the Revolution.
