Not the prettiest thing, but a worth preserving 1699 New Testament in black letter with early ownership from the Whaley Family [births in 1709, 1710, etc.,] it seems either of Virginia or New York. One section of Matthew defective, then with blanks bound in and the missing matter [not all of it] supplied in what looks like perhaps 18th century manuscript that appears to match Martha Whaley's hand from the rear.
