A lovely double-sided single page unpublished manuscript from Philip Doddridge's unfinished work on the pastoral ministry meant to be produced for the benefit of young and aspiring evangelical clergy. He here details appropriate reading and library seletions for the spiritual leader.

This partial catalog includes the tail end of what must be recommendations on historical theology, including Cave's Ecclesiastical Tables, Common Prayer, and The Canons of 1604 & 1640. He then proceeds to General Theology, and includes Richard Baxter's Practical Works [in four volumes folio], The Works of Herman Witsius, Benjamin Calamy's Sermons, John Boys' Sermons, Locke's Life of Christ, Cripplegate Morning Exercises in Six Volumes, Thomas Gouge's Sure Way of Thriving, Theological Works of John Owen, etc., And then a Miscellaneous section beginning with the Poetical Works of John Milton, etc.
