A very scarce early imprint of the Philadelphia 1742 Baptist Confession of Faith with the addition of two works; viz one on the imposition of hands and the other on the singing of Psalms in public worship, both apparently new to this edition.

Charming quarter leather binding with marbled boards and stamped with a period bond text on the front board. Leather spine rubbed with losses as shown. The whole moderately shaken and with some toning and foxing, intensifying in parts. Blank ffep lacking the top 25% of the leaf.
