A charmingly aged mid-18th century volume containing two works by one of the most vigorous of the London Puritan divines, William Dyer [1632-1896]. He was removed from his church at the Great Ejection of 1662, along with Thomas Watson, Thomas Brooks, John Owen, etc., Regarded as a deeply experimental and pious preacher, these two works were Puritan standards of the era and enjoyed great success in England, Scotland, and in early America.
