A very charming late 18th century edition of Milton, published by Robert Burns' publisher, John Wilson of Kilmarnock. The second of three Kilmarnock editions [1785, 1789, 1791], it is suspected that it was also Wilson's edition of Milton read and used by Burns, who frequently referenced Milton in his own work.
All Kilmarnock editions desirable.
