A tidy little late 18th century American imprint of the sermons of Richard Price [b.1723]. He was a Welsh non-conformist minister was deeply supportive of the American Revolution. He was friends and correspond with George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, etc., and was considered "the greatest Welsh thinker of his time."
A fascinating snapshot of the kind of Christian morality the Founding Fathers had in mind as they conceived of this "city on a hill."
