A very scarce volume of essential American colonial theology by Jonathan Edwards, Asahel Hooker, Peter Starr, etc., representing the last of the American puritans; highly evangelical and obviously influenced by the Evangelicalism of the Great Awakening. 

Subjects include: The Wickedness of Manking, Endless Torment, The Divine Sincerity, Obedience, The Continuity of the Historic Church of Christ, The Religious Sentiments of Jesus, Absolute Dependence on God, The Sovereignty of God, The Necessity of the Atonement, etc.
