1798 GEORGE WHITEFIELD. Memoirs, Journals, and Writings in Deer Hide Americana Binding.
An absolute charmer, this is a rather rare early American edition of Gillies' life, journals, and writings of Whitefield. At some point early in its life, the original binding deteriorated and it was recased in a naive deer hide binding. We get these on occasion and find them to be just lovely little piece of Americana.

Good. Full deer hide over-binding and tying attractive and strong. Front board away from spine, but intact as a binding. Rear hinge re-sewn at the period. Textually good + to very good, generally clean and solid.
