1804 AUGUSTUS TOPLADY. Defense of Predestination against John Wesley, etc., RARE
Great volume of the "dialogues" between Toplady and Wesley. It is always worth remembering when we sing Toplady's immortal, "Rock of Ages" that the lines, "Should my tears ne'er cease to flow; should my zeal no langor know. All for sin could not atone. Christ must save, and Christ alone!" that those lines were directed at the Wesley and the Methodists specifically.
