Great volume of the "dialogues" between Toplady and Wesley. It is always worth remembering when we sing Toplady's immortal, "Rock of Ages" that the lines, "Should my tears ne'er cease to flow; should my zeal no langor know. All for sin could not atone. Christ must save, and Christ alone!" that those lines were directed at the Wesley and the Methodists specifically.

Toplady, Augustus. The Doctrine of Absolute Predestination Stated and Asserted: With a Preliminary Discourse on the Divine Attributes. Translated in Great Measure from the Latin of Jerom Zanchius, and an Appendix Concerning the Fate of the Ancients. To which is Affixed, a Letter to the Rev. John Wesley relative to His Pretended Abridgment of Zanchius on Predestination. Johnstown. Abraham Romeyn. 1804. 189pp
