Very desirable first edition of the works of pre-eminent American theologian, Jonathan Edwards. Now almost unobtainable, the present is a very serviceable set with only minor faults, and in Thomas' very fine original full calf bindings. If it were me, I would consolidate the edges and wax, but they are also great the way they are.

Eight volumes in full calf, with contrasting maroon morocco title labels & volume no. labels to spines, with gilt lines. All in good + condition with some rubbing, save volume one which has spine loss as shown, and minor rodentia to foredge of board and text block [not impacting structure or any text]. A very shelf-handsome set. Please note this set seems to have been issued without a general title and frontis [all volume titles present].
