Very nice early American imprint by Isaiah Thomas of Doddridge's classic work from the Great Awakening. This work was used to see William Wilberforce's faith become experimental and Doddridge's influence inside the Evangelical wing of the Church of England opened the way for Whitefield's influence, he being the most influential early Anglican to allow Whitefield into his pulpit.
