A fascinating piece of history with 66 pages of manuscript, beginning with a history of the origins of the Methodist Episcopal Church in Fort Ann, New York in 1813. There are manuscript copies of various year's incorporations, attractive manuscript slip rents, minutes of meetings with a rascal of a minister during the Civil War who was embezzling from the Church autographed donation inventory to the church, etc.

A wonderful little piece of Methodist / New York history worth more research covering 1813 to 1874, including the years of the Civil War. Various hands throughout; all legible. One slip rent sheet detached and damaged. Otherwise complete.
