Crisp first edition of one of the very first premillennial works to be published in the modern era. His work predates Darby, Edward Irving, the Albury Group, etc., and was later interacted with by Frere and Irving, etc. This is the first edition of his first prophetic work, combining more historically based approaches to interpretation with futurist concerns. We might say this work is the birthplace of historic premillennialism.

Cuninghame, William. A Dissertation on the Seals and Trumpets of the Apocalypse, and the Prophetical Period of Twelve Hundred and Sixty Years. London. J. Hatchard. 1813. 372pp.

Text block quite crisp and clean with only occasional foxing. Somewhat recently bound in good quality buckram with a simple leather strip label to spine. A simple, good quality binding.
