1826 JOHN S. THOMPSON. Commentary on the Four Gospels - Based on Wakefield's Translation. Fascinating History.
Very scarce commentary on the four Gospel accounts and introduction to the New Testament with a biography of its author, John Samuel Thompson. At the time of this writing, he was a Universalist, but the study of Scripture begun here led him to renounce his Universalism because of its lack of biblical basis, historicity, and inability to produce personal reformation. A timely document.
