Exceptionally rare. We have handled only one or two other complete sets of Baxter's Practical Works in the last 30 years. It includes nigh near everything he ever produced, in 23 matching and attractive half leather volumes. And, though with some minor faults, this to my recollection is the best one we have handled as well.

A good + set, bound in half leather. Vol. 1 boards are detached, vol. 23 has been neatly respined, and the first signature is shaken on one volume as well. Otherwise, the pages are generally bright with some light foxing, bindings solid, etc., Some generalized rubbing as shown with a few volumes showing minor tears / chips at extremities of the spines.
