Not a pristine volume by any accounting, but it preserves the fantastic woodcut produced in the manner of the original, famed cut used by Thomas Clarkson and William Wilberforce and distributed 'round the world in the abolitionist's cause.
Fascinatingly, this iteration is for a ship designed to smuggle slaves in by hiding them in secret 36 inch "floors" between decks, with the rest of the ship loaded with regular cargo, to legitimize the ships manifest and shipping records, and in the worst case, hopefully provide cover if inspected.
