A scarce volume of lengthy addresses on slavery, the Missouri Compromise, the Cherokee Indians and the Trail of Tears, etc, by abolitionist Representative from Pennsylvania, John Sergeant. He was also running mate of Henry Clay for the Presidency in 1832. 

No copies in the trade and scarce at auction.

A good - copy, bound in cloth spine and paper boards, generally solid, with moderate foxing, handled pages. A rather severe bump and tear to the head of the spine extend to the rear board.
