Charming 1832 pock-sized biography of Jonathan Edwards with really wonderful provenance.
There are several inscriptions in bold, sepia ink. The first is an inscription to Polly Sigourney from Buckley Steadman, an early Washingtonian and Temperance Society leader in Cleveland City. Then there is another inscription from her Sabbath School teacher. On the rear two leaves is a large, bold landscape inscription from I a relative, noted industrialist, Alanson Porter Sigourney.
