Very rare, being the earliest edition of this classic personal Bible reading book on the market. It is thought to have been first issued in 1834, but the inscription on ours is 1832. That said, it is a 7th birthday gift, so it is possible that it was purchased in 1839 and issued slightly before that. Regardless, the earliest obtainable copy and in a really lovely state.

Measuring just 7 / 8 by 1 inch and housed in its own top-loading leather slip case, this little gem is marvelously preserved. The contents consist of short Bible extracts for every day of the year, and even include the 29th February . (Miniature books Louis Bondy). Very good with only minor rubbing.
Later editions in similar condition selling for $350 and up.
