A very scarce work by a converted Jewish attorney of Philadelphia who became an advocate for evangelism to the Jewish people. He here reads through the entirety of the Old Testament and comments on the reality of Jesus as the Jewish Messiah.
He also, as a Jewish thinker, seems to exert significant pressure against Christians who think of Jesus has having a "soul," which is created, rather than on a pure theonomy and questions the impact of this thinking on the atonement.
Van Aminge was quite a vocal critic of the emerging financial disparities of capitalism as well, and with advocates like Horace Greely and other Christians of the time, advocated for labor and land reforms like unionization, etc. He was also a vocal advocate of women's suffrage.
