This is the first edition, handsomely printed by William Pickering, and bound in two extremely attractive Hayday bindings comprised of full morocco, raised bands with tooling in compartments and boards, tooled dentils, marbled endpapers, and brilliant gold to all edges of text block.
Fine frontis of William Tyndale present and clean and various woodcut representations of various early imprints. Both bear bookplates from the library of Martin Inett Preston Esquire of Nottingham, one of the great collectors of the Victorian era.
