1850 BAPTIST DIVINES Four Period Framed Engravings of Baptists, William Carey, Stillman, Gano, and Williams
Here is a wonderful little grouping of four early to mid-19th century engravings of promiment Baptist divines assembled c.1850-1860 and framed in matching in charming Americana frames. Each also retaining its original 19th century handpoured glass with minor ripples, as expected and desired.
Prints were apparently at one time folded, each with some imperfections. Frames are handled and patinated. Each measuring c.5 x 7 inches. Look fantastic with each other and the prints themselves quite rare.
Print One: Rev. Stephen Gano. Pastor of the First Baptist Church in Providence, Rhode Island. By J. Patridge; engraved by Annin & Smith. Tide mark, folds. Pencil notated on the rear, probably original, Presented by the R. R. Ass.
