1852 C. D. BURRITT. Methodism in Ithaca, New York. Superb Second Great Awakening History + Mormon Background.
A rather scarce important work on early revivalism in New York passed through the family and inscribed and stamped at multiple points by the author's niece, Hattie Livingston.
Excellent content on the first circuit preacher in Ithaca, early revivals and camp-meetings, a whole section on "the great revival" which includes a special section on revival among black residents of Ithaca, account of a vision by a woman in the church, etc.
It should also be noted that this work is considered an important background resource for Joseph Smith's vision and experience.

Good to good - copy with some losses at extremities; that said, a very crisp, solid copy with only the slightest amount of foxing.
