A pristine piece of ephemera which seems to have been issued in the throws of the 1858 Prayer Revival. The author indicates that prayer meetings are abounding, family altars have been raised, and there is a deep solemnity . . . and challenges, if the reader will not be saved, when the Spirit is present and the Kingdom is near, it will likely be never. Issued by the ATS, likely for wide distribution from the Philadelphia, New York, and Boston epicenters. No other copies traced and we cannot find any example of the text published in any other format.

Superb, crisp small tract in a rather remarkable state of preservation.
