An absolutely beautiful full leather fine binding edition of the works of George Herbert [1593-1633]. Fine, deeply tooled calf and all edges gilt in gold, and then geometrically gauffered. Really lovely.
George Herbert has long been a favorite of all persons bent to an experimental understanding of Christ as available through all the means of grace in the world, i.e. other people, Scripture, beauty, nature, etc.,
