Really interesting periodical in the throes of the 1859 revival that looked to harness the power and devotion of that movement and move it into the home. Very scarce. I believe this was the only issue produced, which is a shame. The content is superb. It is the only example we have ever seen or handled.

Attractive half leather with raised bands, very solid. Some rubbing, just through at various points on the boards. One short article excised at some point and now re-inserted.
