Nicely preserved, soldier carried pocket New Testament issued at the very onset of the Civil War, specifically printed and bound to fit in the pockets of Union soldiers.
This particularly copy carried by George H Harry [Harris] of the Army of Virginia. His Division was active at Gettysburg, suffering very heavy losses.
