Very attractive set of Johannot's illustrated edition of Don Quixote in the best production binding it was offered in. Additionally, this the copy of famed book collector and influential Boston lawyer, Henry Gardner Denny [1833-1907], whose collection was sold at auction in Boston after his death in September of 1907. His library included the first four folios of Shakespeare's works, many valuable original manuscripts, important slavery documents, unpublished manuscripts by Nathaniel Hawthorne, Longfellow, Oliver Wendell Holmes, etc.
