A very scarce complete six-months of an important Civil War periodical containing an incredible array of War related content, nearly all original. This particular production was aimed almost exclusively at the women at home, dealing with everything from the death of a husband, to the problems of waiting, rousing patriotism, etc., plus just loaded with historically situated historical romance tales . . . along with suggestions for dealing with "corpulence" and the plight of the homely, etc. Fascinating reading.

No other copies of this large format, high quality production available on the market at any price. . . not a single issue, let alone 26 issues.
