A very scarce, absolutely blistering work bitterly assailing Abraham Lincoln in both personal and policy terms, citing Lincoln's usurpations, his misrepresentations, broken promises, etc. Almost the entire text Is devoted to cataloguing and exposing President Lincoln's shortcomings and failures. One of the most virulently anti-Lincoln works of the era.

The author, John Fulton of Maryland, is outraged at the forced silencing and gag orders against those in the border states who have been "presumed" by the North, but who are truly Southerners, pro-states rights, pro-slavery, etc., He then goes on to discuss two political options for Maryland's "southern men," and suggest two parties, both of whomwere born in the South in the immediate aftermath of the Fugitive Slave Act, i.e. The Southern Rights Party and the Union Party.

Not offered at auction since 1915 and no copies on the market at the time of cataloging.
