1865 JOHN EADIE. The Divine Love. Rare Work on Trinitarian Love of God. Spurgeon Recommended.
Very scarce work by prominent Scottish divine, John Eadie [1810-1876]. He was one of the most prominent Pauline authors from Scotland during the mid-19th century. He wrote extensively on Paul, Galatians, and Ephesians. The works were included in Spurgeon's Commenting and Commentaries, each with his highest recommendation.
The present work is very unusual on the market, and a fascinating work on the intra-Trinitarian love of God and its impact on the experienced love of God by people. A very interesting section on the love of God as demonstrated through special seasons of grace, i.e. revivals, etc.,
