Two complete volumes of Goodman's scarce freethinker periodical, The Modern Thinker, printed in various colors on variously colored sheets. He addresses this and says, contrary to public opinion, it is not a gimmick. Like so many things passed down in society, i.e. philosophy, religion, family, interpretations of history passed as fact, we all just keep on printing black on white as if it's the best . . . when studies have shown that colored inks on colored sheets are easier on the eye, aid the memory, etc., To him, it is a visual example of the absurdity of "traditioned" ways of thinking and doing things.

They address polygamy, free love [by John Humphrey Noyes of the Oneida Community], good and evil, women's rights, human sexuality, sturpiculture [early eugentics as practiced at the Oneida Community], etc.,

No copies on the market; offered at auction but once in the last 100 years.
