Here's a charming little piece of Americana; it's a full-year diary, kept every day, by a 19 month only child. Of course it was actually kept by his mother, but in the voice of the infant, making it quite unusual and quirky little piece of history.
The "child" comments on taking medicine, naps, a stable fire, a stomach issue, naps, the train, Bethlehem, Mr. Siegfried, New Hampshire, Pittston PA, Elmira NY, Mr. King, Eldridge Park, West Ward Grove, Easton, a Fair, John Sigman, Fireman's Parade, P. T. Barnum Circus, Jersey, Philadelphia, etc. etc.
Very good wallet style binding, measuring 2 3/4 x 3 3/4 inches, some minor rubbing. Very sound and clean.
