For those interesting in the blossoming of Chinese missions that included Hudson Taylor and the China Inland Mission, David Hill and the Methodists, and the other nearly apostolic endeavors of the time, this volume is an invaluable and quite large resource; almost unobtainable in the original edition.

It contains an original large format photograph of the attendees, a silhouetted reproduction of the photograph with numerical identification, and a quantity of large fold out maps.

Exceptionally scarce. Works by the Shanghai Presbyterian Mission Press now fetching thousands of dollars of each in many cases. No other copies offered recently, so conservatively priced since we lack a referent.
