An imposing folio in vellum, c.10 x 12.5 inches. Some wear, appears to be lacking three illustrations to cover, but if they were ever present, it was a long time ago. The handling is consistent across the panels. Very solid. This is a much better than usual example of this desirable volume. Text is very crisp and clean, as are the tissue-guarded engravings, some of which are rippled in margins as is somewhat usual for this paper.
