This is the most complete run of this important American preaching periodical we have ever handled. Published by E. B. Treat, each of the 17 volumes features over 700 pages of the best preaching from around the world with sections of outlines, full sermons, illustrations, preaching history and helps, etc., Each contains a textual index as well, so very easily usable as a reference.

Only one year on the market at present. Highly collectible, usually selling for $50 - $100 per volume. It would be a long time collecting to pull these together as an assemblage.

Authors include: James Culross, J. A. Broadus, T. L. Cuyler [1857 Prayer Revival], Alexander Maclaren [Scottish Baptist], Charles Hodge, A. J. Gordon, Thomas Guthrie, Andrew Bonar, Talbot Chambers [1857 Prayer Revival], Patrick Fairbarn, F. B. Meyer, D. L. Moody, Austin Phelps, T. De Witt Talmage, W. M. Taylor, David James Burrell, Samuel Cox, A. T. Pierson, Joseph Parker, Andrew Murray, G. Campbell Morgan, George Matheson, J. A. Alexander, Thomas Armitage, William Arnot, George Cheever, Tryon Edwards, Newman Hall, J. R. MacDuff, H. C. Morrison, B. M Palmer, Alvah Hovey, George F. Pentecost. Charles Haddon Spurgeon, Philip Brooks, Theodore Monod, George Soltau, etc., etc. etc.

The Pulpit Treasury. An Evangelical Monthly for Pastors, Christian Workers, and Families. New York. E. B. Treat. 1883-1904.

17 volumes, each a complete year with the only gaps being 1887, 1888, 1901, and 1902. Bindings matching. As usual, quite worn. These tended to be heavily used. Please expect fair condition with some stains to cloth, rubbing, and some volumes quite shaken. This is quite normal for these; they were often well-loved and the bindings were not quite up to the task of their formidable size. Quite imposing together on the shelf. Each near 7 x 10 inches. This is a monster set!

Less than $35 per volume and an assemblage that would take years to put together!
