A rare Methodist work of a dispensational nature, "The time has come when the things which God has revealed in the Revelation ought to be understood; we are nearing the last eventful period," which is read in terms of the seven times or dispensations, etc., He even argues that the book had been impossible to read properly until the present, because history was commentary and the history / text interaction provided the "Key" to understanding the future happenings clearly.
Very scarce, with no examples in the trade or at auction. Copyright held by Sophia Wepf, likely taken to press by her after her husband's death and issued by the Methodists as an act of charity, as dispensational readings were not preferred by Methodists of the period.
