1888 IRA D. SANKEY. Superb 2pp Autograph Letter Regarding Distribution of Hymns and an Upcoming Convention.

A very attractive and pristine 2pp ALS entirely in the hand of Ira Sankey. Addressed to S. E. Bridgman, bookseller of Northampton, Massachusetts, and publisher as well, they discuss distribution of No. 5 [Sankey's Gospel Hymns No. 5] published by Biglow & Main, Sankey's long-time publisher and is hoping for blessing on the upcoming Northfield Conference.

Dear Brother,
Yours of the 25th just reached me here today. And in reply I would say I think we are fully supplied with "No. 5" at Northfield. I have just written to Mr. Biglow to write you, and to hold the Books at Northampton for a little until I see if they are needed at N.F. In case they are, he can order the books sent on to us. If not, he can direct what to do.

I will be passing through your town tomorrow about the time you get this letter.

Let me here and now thank you for the nice reports you send out of our Meetings at Northfield. 

Hoping to meet you soon again and that you will come down & tke tea with Mrs. Sankey and I soon and get the photo of the Group on our porch. And that we may all be blessed thro the Coming Convention.
