Very attractive and early imprint of one of Spurgeon's quaintest compositions. These are notoriously difficult to date, but the person who gifted it did us the kindness of dating it to March 5, 1891. Since it was issued later in 1890, this helps us place a first edition and very early printing, if not first printing, attribution to it.

Good + to very good. Spine a bit dulled, rubbed at head of spine, less so at base of spine and lower outer corners. Inscription page is toned. Very lightly shaken with the exception of the signature incorporating pp.99-110, which is a bit forward in the block and shaken.
