At a whopping 700+ pages, this was the most significant work to the time issued on the subject and remains an invaluable resource today.

Large 8vo, near small 4to in original plain blue cloth. Very crisp though with some surface rubbing and a small wax spot on rear board. Interior is exceptionally crisp and clean with light gutter exposure between title and front matter. A very nice example.
