Property of Gordon P. Gardiner [autographed]. Gardiner [1915-1986] was born in Zion and became pastor of the prominent Ridgewood Pentecostal Church in Brooklyn, NY. He was also editor of the Pentecostal periodical, “Bread of Life,” beginning in 1957.
Inscribed Mrs. Nettie E. Graham of Zion, Illinois. She was the sister of Martha Wing Robinson whose biography was written by Gordon P. Gardiner. A brief of her biography, which includes her 30 days of praying 18 hours per day, her divine healing, her being baptized in the Holy Spirit at the Azusa Street Revival in 1906, her connection to Dowie, etc., is available here:
