A superb little work we are rarely able to offer for sale. An excellent introduction to the Puritans, and not just the more well-known, though they are represented. It is, and I suppose this is tooting his "Horn" just a bit, nearly a whose who of obscure and forgotten puritan divines.
Authors include: John Owen, Stephen Charnock, Thomas Brooks, John Trapp, Thomas Watson, Thomas Adams, William Jenkyn, William Gurnall, George Swinnock, Richard Sibbs, John Flavel, Henry Smyth, John Boys, Christopher Nesse, William Secker, Thomas Manton, Thomas Taylor, Edward Marbury, Samuel Rutherford, Richard Baxter, Thomas Goodwin, David Dickson, Benjamin Keach, Oliver Cromwell, James Janeway, Jean Daille, Alexander Grosse, etc.
