This was the true first appearance of the beautifully produced etching, "Love Triumphant," by G. F. Watts, so-described in the front matter.
A beautiful small octavo measuring c.4 x 5 inches in a fine arts and crafts style-binding by also by Riviere & Son. Leather very attractive, though a bit faded with light rubbing at extremities. Very solid, tooling crisp, foredges hatch-tooled in gold, dentils tooled in gold, and endpapers atmospherically marbled. A bit browned at edged of ffep. Text handsomely printed in red and black. Very crisp and clean.
