Absolutely superb edition of Bunyan. Printed as part of The Royal Library, Chef D'Oeuvre Series on hand-laid paper in a spectacular Zaehnsdorf binding. Zaehnsdorf at this period was doing the finest bindings in England.

Full crushed morocco with extremis raised bands, handsewn bands, top edge gilt and foredge deckled. Dentils are beautifully tooled with complimenting silk endpapers and pastedowns. Some very minor rubbing, but overall very good + condition.
