An unusually well-preserved monosyllabic edition of Lewis Carrolls' classic. Saalfield produced at least three variants of this text, all desirable. This cover appears to be the rarest, and even moreso in this rather smart condition. The nicest example of any of the three states we have been able to trace.

Good + to very good condition in a small 4to, attractively embossed in red and black on cloth, fine, whimsical illustrations throughout. Very clean and crisp; a bit toned, slight exposure of mull at front hinge. Very minor handling to cloth.
