Here is a gem; not another copy on the market at any price.
R. E. Winsett had already been a prominent hymn-writer and publisher. However, at Azusa something powerful happened. His history does not make it clear whether he was present or whether her interacted with one of the very early groups that had visited and spread to Chicago, New York, and other locations. Regardless, by 1907, he considered himself aligned with the burgeoning Pentecostal movement and by 1908 had released what many people consider the first Pentecostal hymn book ever written.
Even from its opening two hymns, we see its alignment with the revival in Los Angeles: First is Called to Foreign Fields and next in line is Old Time Power. No doubt these were the hallmarks cries of the movement in its early years.

Quite worn in wraps, some tears with small chip at head of spine. Some folds and chips to extremities, first leaf has interior tear with very fragile hanger-on that should be handled with care.
