A first-rate 78pp missionary travelogue of a team of female travelers for the Church Missionary Society who appear to be gathering information relative to a specific donor.

Their entire voyage is recorded in great detail, including travel on the S. S. Helouan, their time in Cairo, Alexandria, traveling down the Nile, visiting with a host of different missionaries, the Missionary Training School in Uganda, etc.,

The party included Irene Pound, Miss M. Allen, Graham Pound, Joan Cave, and Miss G. Corbet.

Bound in elephant or water buffalo, it includes 42 photographs, 2 postcards, 4 hand-drawn maps, 1 lithographed map, and 4 other drawings, plus about 50 pages of unpublished typed manuscript.
