A wonderful little find. The present work has been considered a classic of the Keswick and higher life movements since its first appearance in 1928. Ruth Paxson [1889-1949] attended Moody Bible Institute and departed for China in 1911 as part of the Student Volunteer Movement revival. Once there, her deep personal spirituality and her ability to teach Scripture saw her receive rare opportunities to teach at higher life conferences in China, including those of the China Inland Mission. She then preached at Keswick as well.
To my knowledge, this is the only volume signed by her I have handled. Or, if I have, it has been many years. A lovely little find.
