Wonderful little grouping of four early works by Alice Reynolds Flower [1890-1991]. She was one of the "mothers" of the modern Pentecostal movement. Baptised in the Holy Spirit in 1907, she married J. Russel Flower, first Superintendent of the Assemblies of God. She had been miraculously healed and was one of the important voices in the early movement habitually forcing all conversation about the Holy Ghost to end in greater love for and devotion to Christ; an important stabilizing figure.
All four of the works below have been autographed by Flower, the third with an extenisve full page 1932 inscription to her niece and namesake, Alice Adele Flower.
Accompanied by a later biography of Flower, also autographed in her aged, quite shaky hand.
